Expedition Timeline

Every day of your four days in Lillehammer, the site of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games, gives you multiple adrenaline rushes. Spend time skiing some of the 25 miles of slopes at the Hafjell Alpine Center and compete with fellow travellers on your own biathlon. Explore Norway on cross country skis during an evening "walk" with headlights, and then spend an unforgettable morning of adventure at the Olympic bobsleigh and luge track. Take part in bobrafting, four-man bobsledding, riding the exhilarating skeleton and tobogganing at full speed; some activities have you going at a speed of 75mph.

DAYS 1-2

Arrive Oslo, Norway/Lillehammer

After you arrive in Oslo, your expedition guide and coach join you for the drive to Lillehammer to get you settled into your hotel. The next morning, head to the Hafjell Alpine Center, which as built for the 1994 Winter Games. After a 90-minute skiing instruction, the rest of the day is free to explore the slopes. This evening, join your coach for a curling experience at Kristin’s Hall.

DAY 3

Lillehammer

Spend the morning at Birkebeineren Ski Stadium’s biathlon facility where you can organize a biathlon (cross country skiing and rifle shooting) competition with or without skis, with teams, relay exchanges and even penalty rounds. Everyone shoots five rifle rounds at the Olympic targets; the excitement builds with the rapidly changing positions of the various teams. End the day with an evening "walk" with headlights on skis.

DAYS 4-5

Lillehammer/ Depart Oslo

This morning's activities are filled with speed and motion. Begin at Lillehammer's Olympic bobsleigh and luge track to take part in three extreme Olympic sports – bobsleigh, four-man bobsled and skeleton. Return to Lillehammer for a well-deserved afternoon at leisure. This evening, your final sport will be toboggan at Kantehaugen Freestyle Arena. Conclude your exhilarating adventure by lighting the Olympic fire and toasting with a warm cordial. The next morning, you depart for home.
